“Our partnership with Kenya Airways reinforces our commitment to connecting Africa with the rest of the world through our Doha hub,” he noted.
“By combining our networks, we are creating new opportunities for travellers and strengthening economic ties between our regions.”

Beyond Passenger Services
The partnership will also explore cooperation beyond passenger flights. Both airlines plan to collaborate in cargo handling, ground operations, lounge access, fleet maintenance, sustainability initiatives, and loyalty programs.
Industry observers say the move reflects a broader trend among African carriers seeking global alliances to enhance competitiveness and service quality.
With the new codeshare routes, Kenya Airways strengthens its footprint in Asia and the Middle East while providing travellers with smoother global connections through Doha’s Hamad International Airport.
